When logging dispositions, Orum will set the activity type to "Call" by default. If you want to set it to a different value, contact us and we can change this.

If the type field isn't being set at all, you may not have it visible to the API, at which point Orum cannot write to it. To change this, in Salesforce, go to Setup > Customize > Activities > Task Fields and click on the field "Type". You should see a button "Set Field-Level Security." Click on that, then hit the checkbox where it says "Visible" so it becomes visible to all users (this is the default for other fields like Subject). Then contact us and we can start setting the field for you.
