How do I enter extensions?

During a call
During a calling session, you have access to a chatbox in the top left corner. There you can input any extensions or names to help navigate during a call.



SFDC
Make sure to input the extension as part of the phone number on the prospect, before your calling session begins. This will prompt the system to automatically attempt to navigate the dial tree.

- Dials an extension after an automated voice prompts for it.
- Stays on the line if the voice says something like ""please hold while we connect you.""
- Waits for any ringing, and detects and drops voicemails as needed.
- Works with any extension format, so long as it's in the phone field (e.g. 555-5555 x123, #123, ;123, ext. 123, 123, extension 123)

Outreach
Make sure to input the extension as part of the phone number on the prospect, before your calling session begins. There is a small ext. box on the prospect next to the phone field. This will prompt the system to automatically attempt to navigate the dial tree.



SalesLoft
